Who We Are
Research shows that being able to see and experience the arts can help people feel happier, less alone, and more hopeful. For many people who are struggling, the arts can be a positive and meaningful break from daily stress. However, many people cannot go to these places because tickets are too expensive. This project is about helping people in New York City who cannot afford tickets to experience the arts, such as museums, concerts, and other performances.
The goal of this project is to work with museums, Broadway theaters, concert halls, and other arts organizations in New York City and ask them to donate free or unused tickets.
This project is not just about entertainment. It is about helping people feel connected, included, and valued in their community. By giving more people the chance to experience the arts, this project hopes to support emotional well-being and help people feel hopeful and inspired again. Overall, this project shows that the arts should be for everyone, not just people who can afford them.
